ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
"Blues and Soul Festival" is a long-standing musical event organized by the Directorate for Culture and Art - Skopje.
The festival creates space for the local blues and soul scene to meet with international performers and has kept this music visible in the cultural life of Skopje for decades.
The festival story has been documented since 1996. Through different periods, the program has been realized in several Skopje concert and alternative spaces, with an emphasis on live performance, genre diversity and the development of an audience for blues, soul and related musical forms.
